Shit son, you thought the last album I reviewed (lol) was abrasive?

Well you thought like a commie moron.

By the testicles of the Holy Ghost, I swear that this album will make you say "....uhhhhhhhhh" and "I'll re-listen once my brain stops hemorrhaging." If it doesn't, you're clearly as deaf as I am. I don't even like music. Fuck that nonsense, it's all about unnecessary dissonance and "Jesus fuck, what was that?! It sounds like a bunch of autistic owls have gotten into my house and are having an orgy!" If I'm not crying huddled in a corner by the end on an album, it was never worth listening to.

FFO: Psyopus, DEP, Some Girls and pretty much everything I listed on the Some Girls review.

Recommended Track: Captain Analog vs. Dr. Digital

Fuck. don't even listen to this. You're not ready. Maybe you will be one day. Maybe.

Some Girls - The DNA Will Have Its Say E.P. (2005)

Tracklist:

1) I Need Drugs
2) A Sick Cult
3) Me & My Blasphemy
4) The DNA will have Its Say
5) Don't Hate Me Because I Hate You
6) Nazi Rodeo
7) Hot Air Ballons

Two words: vocal flams. This album has it in spades. There's also some music and other sounds present on the album, but goddammit, those vocal flams. At first they sound accidental, but then you hear then in every song and it hits you: you've never heard another record where the vocals were so perfectly off-time. Add to that the whole "I put my guitar through a woodchipper" sound and the completely batshit insane drumming and tempo/time sig changes and you have a winning combination for the worst album you'll never be able to stop listening to.

Mission accomplished, Some Girls, return to base.

PS; Apparently Karen O is on this album, but who cares about Karen O? And I'd write a longer review, but the EP will probably take as much time to listen to as it will for you to read this.

Recommended Tracks:  Just listen to the whole thing. What? Don't give me that shit; you are not too busy to listen to 6 minutes of music.

Additional selling points
- Some Girls contains members of The Locust and The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower among others
- Pitchfork hates the album
- Album artwork is pretty snazzy.

FFO: Daughters, In/Humanity, HeavyHeavyLowLow, TPTBUTET, The Locust
