Before there was The Gaslight Anthem, Brian Fallon was in another little band named This Charming Man. Every Little Secret... is the only recording they released. Members came and went, and Brian Fallon was the only original member remaining when Benny Horowitz, Alex Levine, and Alex Rosamilia joined. With a new lineup, they changed the name to The Gaslight Anthem and the rest is history. This is a great little EP. It's full of fun songs that just make you feel good. It's also undeniably Fallon-esque in terms of lyrics and vocal melodies. Super catchy, as always. Obsessed with Brian Fallon? No, I'm not obsessed with Brian Fallon. Well. Maybe a little. Just listen to the damn record. It's perfect music for the late night drives where you're not really going anywhere.
